Hampshire Open Studios - Make your Own - Hanging

This year for Hampshire open studios we will be running special ‘make your own' fused glass taster sessions.  

For this course you will be making a fused glass picture.  The session is a very relaxed taster for anyone wanting to have a go with glass.  On the day you will design and make your piece, then we will fire it and post the completed picture out to you within the next few weeks.

All materials and tools will be provided. You will be able to choose from a selection of shapes and using pre fired glass and different bullseye glass grades that you can decorate with your own design.

We plan to have 3 sessions per day, with 4 slots available in each session.

10.30 until 11.30

12.30 until 1.30

2.30 until 3.30

The cost of the workshop will be £15 per person, which is a special price for the Hampshire Open Studios event.

This course is suitable for age 10 plus.  Any children will have to be accompanied with an adult, children cannot be left unattended.  If adult and child both wish to make a hanging please book 2 spaces.

Please note: there will be no cutting of the glass and you do not need to have any glass working experience.  Glass is however sharp and must be handled with care at all times.

If COVID restrictions are in place - Social distancing will apply, hand gel will be provided and masks / visors will be worn.
