The Dart Centre

The Dart Centre is situated in Hedge End and offers a huge range of art and craft based course for all ages. We have been working with The Dart centre and its lovely team since 2022. Our Saturday glass courses are a fantasic starting point for anyone interested in glass fusion. The 2024 program is inclusive for beginners and for people who have already had a go and want to develop their skills. We do not cut the glass on site and the courses are for over 18s only. January 20th - Decorate 3 bird hangings

These could be based on British birds or complete fantasy. Decorating base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti. £35

February 17th - 4 Seasons in a Tree Curve

Looking at creating a tree shape from liquid glass and adding colours that encompass all the seasons. Decorating base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti and using liquid glass. size w 17cm x h 15cm - £45

March 16th - Bunting

Decorate 3 bunting flags to create your own mini bunting. Each bunting is approx 10cm wide at the top x 10cm in length. Decorating base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti. £35

April 27th - Glass Butterflies On sticks

Decorate 2 Butterfly base shapes to create your own beautiful plant buddy. Decorating base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti. £35

May 11th - Fused glass Garden Sculpture

Approx size 1 meter tall with a 20cm diameter glass circle as your central art piece. Decorating a circular base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti and preferred pieces. Your sculpture will be framed within a powered coated metal frame that can be put in the garden. £65

June 22nd - Lanterns

Decorate 2 panels of a lantern. Decorating base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti and pre fired pieces. £65

July 20th - ‘Make a Splash’

Art piece window curve. Decorating abase pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti and preferred pieces. Size : 18cm x 40cm £75

AUGUST - NO CLASS

No class due to summer hoildys and Hampshire Open Studios Event..

September 14th - Autumnal Tea-light holders.

Thinking about those lovely rich autumnal colours and season themes. Decorating 2 base pieces using Frits, stringers and Confetti which will be added to tea lights for the final piece. £40

Oct 12th - Framed Art Piece

Create you own art picture using liquid glass frits, confettis, stringers and pre fired pieces. You will be working on a flat piece which will be returned to you mounted in a frame. Approx size - 25cm x 25cm £65
